That is why they meticulously select the finest quality wool (from the nagchu Region, for instance) and make it go through an elaborate process of cleaning and washing in the factory. The wool is first care fully hand picked thereby separating the pure white wool from the rest. In the second stage, the dirt & other extraneous materials are mechanically separated. Next, whatever, dirt has remained is washed away by using clean water -no harsh chemicals. After this, the excess grease in the wool is removed and grease content is kept at an optimum level for best dyeing result. Finally, the wool is gently dried and bailed.
